The folks at Vanida Thai Kitchen are showing their love and appreciation to healthcare workers by treating them to free meals! From the owner Mahat Papartassee on Nextdoor:
Being an essential worker myself, I understand the stress and risk of having to be out in the field everyday. But after talking to a friend who’s a nurse, I realized that my level of stress and risk is nowhere near the level of those working in the medical field right now. They are working tirelessly and fearlessly, risking their own lives to help all of us get through this crisis. Hopefully my little offer can help fuel their strength a bit during this battle against the pandemic.
On behalf of my staff and family, I would like to sincerely thank all the First Responders out there. Please feel free to stop by our restaurant and treat yourself to a meal at no cost. Just come in and present your ID/badge.
